Ty Mawr is a historic cottage dating back to the 17th century. Captain Henry Morgan, the privateer and sea-raider, is reputed to have lived in Ty Mawr during the 17th Century whilst hiding from King Charles II.

We have a seperate holiday cottage and a static caravan available to rent within Ty Mawr's grounds.

Ty Mawr is located between Llanbedrog and Abersoch, in a coastal area of outstanding natural beauty, with its mild almost tropical climate. Ten minutes walk away is the Warren beach and the fishing village of Abersoch is only a short distance away.

Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula, Gwynedd in North Wales and has become a very popular village seaside resort. Great beaches, internationally recognised sailing waters, pleasant climate and beautiful scenery, all set in the heartland of the Welsh language - provide a special combination.
